Cima Piccola – normal route

The slimmest and steepest of the Three Peaks – with a spectacular abseil descent.

The Cima Piccola is the slimmest and steepest of the three, so some climbing technique helps. The reward is a breathtaking abseil line – very little down-climbing is needed.

The ascent is beautiful but asks for more climbing skill than the Cima Grande or Cima Ovest. In return it is usually far quieter than the neighbouring summits.
